4th of July: Pie Season

I really feel like the 4th of July feels like Pie Season, all the great berries are getting ripe, blackberries, Marion Berries, Raspberries, and Strawberries! Of course Rhubarb is super popular as well here in the Northwest! I still remember going out in the garden at my grandmother’s house and getting a big piece of Rhubarb, washing it in the ice cold water (from the hand pump) and dipping it in sugar to eat raw. I am excited this year to be able to be at the Lake Stevens 4th Celebration! I will post more details on Facebook once I find out the times.
